BITZER highlights at Chillventa 2022
Some Chillventa highlights in retrospect: At the two BITZER booths, the international trade visitors could find out about the extensive product portfolio and the wide range of digital solutions and services offered by the refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump specialist.
Among other things, the 8-cylinder reciprocating compressor for transcritical CO2 applications, the latest extension of the CO2 series, was shown at the trade fair. BITZER developed the compressors especially for larger capacity ranges in large refrigeration systems and heat pump applications that were previously designed with HFC refrigerants or ammonia.
In the commercial refrigeration sector, BITZER presented with the ECOLITE LHL7E condensing units a new product with an even larger capacity range. Up to 6.5 kW can be covered in deep cooling and up to 25 kW in normal cooling. Like the ECOLITE LHL3E and LHL5E condensing units, LHL7E is also approved for refrigerants in safety groups A1 and A2L.
Furthermore, the prototype of the new OS.A105 open drive screw compressor at Chillventa gave a foretaste of an upcoming expansion of the BITZER ammonia screw portfolio for industrial ammonia refrigeration systems with capacities from 950 kW to 1,400 kW at 2,900 rpm.
